Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 06, 2026
Last updated: July 06, 2026
1. Who we are
Alpine is an AI-powered SEO tool operated by Evergreen Digital LLC, a limited liability company registered in Nebraska ("Evergreen Digital," "we," "us," or "our"). Our principal place of business is Lincoln, Nebraska.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at brett@evergreendgtl.com.
2. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use Alpine ("the Service"). It applies to all users of Alpine, including visitors to our website and paying subscribers.
3. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
Account information: your name, email address, and password when you create an account
Business information: your business name, website domain, business type, and any context notes you add to your Knowledge Base
Payment information: billing details processed through Stripe (we do not store your full credit card number — Stripe handles this securely)
Content you create: blog drafts, press releases, service page copy, and notes generated or saved through the Service
Information from third-party integrations (with your permission)
When you connect Google services, we access only the data necessary to provide the Service:
Google Analytics: session counts, conversion data, and top landing page performance
Google Search Console: search queries, clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position for your connected property
Google Drive: only files you explicitly select and import into your Knowledge Base
We request read-only access to Google Analytics and Search Console data. For Google Drive, we request access only to files created by or shared with Alpine (drive.file scope) — not your entire Drive.
We do not sell, share, or use your Google data to train AI models.
Information collected automatically
Usage data: which features you use, how often you generate content, and how many AI actions you consume per billing period
Log data: IP address, browser type, device type, and timestamps of requests
Cookies: session cookies to keep you logged in; we do not use third-party advertising cookies
4. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, operate, and improve the Service
Generate AI-powered SEO recommendations, content drafts, and keyword analysis personalized to your business
Process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe
Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets) and, if you opt in, weekly SEO digest notifications
Monitor usage against your plan limits and enforce fair use
Respond to support requests and communicate service updates
Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data to train AI models, serve advertising, or sell your information to third parties.
5. AI-generated content
Alpine uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate content and provide SEO recommendations. When you use AI features, relevant context (your domain, business type, Knowledge Base notes, and connected data) is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response.
Anthropic's data handling practices are governed by their own privacy policy, available at anthropic.com/privacy. We do not share your personally identifiable information with Anthropic beyond what is necessary to generate a response.
AI-generated content (blog posts, press releases, recommendations) is provided as a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any content before publishing it.
6. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
Service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI generation), and email providers — each bound by their own privacy and security commitments
Google: when you connect Google services, data flows between Google's APIs and our servers under the permissions you grant
Legal requirements: if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Evergreen Digital or others
Business transfers: if Evergreen Digital is acquired or merges with another company, your data may transfer as part of that transaction, with notice provided to you
7. Data retention
We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days in case you wish to reactivate, after which it is deleted. You may request immediate deletion at any time by emailing brett@evergreendgtl.com.
Content drafts and Knowledge Base items are retained as long as your account is active and deleted with your account.
8. Data security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), encrypted storage of OAuth tokens, and access controls limiting who can view your data. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Alpine account.
9. Your rights and choices
You may at any time:
Access or export your data by contacting brett@evergreendgtl.com
Correct inaccurate account information in your account settings
Delete your account and associated data by contacting brett@evergreendgtl.com
Disconnect Google integrations at any time from your Connections settings
Opt out of digest email notifications in your Notifications settings
10. Children's privacy
Alpine is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at brett@evergreendgtl.com and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
